Prices in the Chicago area, and even in Peoria, have moved above $4, but in the Illinois Quad Cities area they're slightly lower, ranging from $3.84 in Henry County, to $3.91 in Rock Island County, and $3.95 in Mercer County.

Triple-A reports the average price in Iowa is now $3.72, up about 13 cents during the past week. Prices in the Iowa Quad Cities range from $3.47 in Scott County, to $3.49 in Muscatine County, $3.56 in Clinton County, and the highest is Dubuque County at $3.57.
